Two Zero Zero Six

HAPPY NEW YEAR to ONE and ALL!

2006 has arrived.

Spent New Year's Eve playing badminton with ade, jin, hui shan, plus watching a movie with jia hui.

It was a good badminton game, with sha1 shou3 shan, jian4 zhaos1 ade, limbo rock jin, and limbo rock challenger me! During the game we came up with many nicknames for our strokes, jian zhao no. 1 etc. (which includes the shuttlecock just tipping over the net), jue zhao no.1 etc (which includes serving right into the middle - weak point, of the opponents) and booboo no. 1. etc (which includes hitting the shuttlecock straight into the net) HAHA so funny.
Shan left after the game and the rest of us had lunch at KouFu, which jinny had her usual RAMEN. She's the only person i know who can eat the same thing almost everyday, like when in sajc, she ate rice with brinjal and ladyfingers EVERYDAY, not to mention with the two grossest vegetables, haha no offence. Felt really comfortable to just sit there and yak with those two very close friends. It has been a while since i can just let words come out of my mouth naturally and i don't have to rack my brains hard on what to say next.

Then, i met jia hui in the evening at Causeway to catch a movie, "The Family Stone". The movie's not very good, because i came out of the cinema without being able to grasp the theme of the show. It's like zhen1 qing3, where they dump a bunch of people together and tell their individual stories, but in the end they are all supposed to be part of one big family. Some parts are super unrealistic lah, me and jh were complaining throughout about them haha. But overall it was ok.

I found out two new fun facts about jh the farnie sotong:

1. She has an ELEPHANT MEMORY!!
wow i tell you, not even jin, sy or me can beat her memory! She remembers many specifc places which we have been to, and we have known each other since sec 1?! so that's a LOT of places haha

2. She is very rational when it comes to relationships.
i'm amazed at her willpower and practicality. haha yes jin, i've found someone even more practical than you.

Yeah there's still something new to discover about your very close friend you thought you have known for so long. That makes friendships even more interesting.
