Hairy the green ball

Woah i woke up at 8.30 am today to trot down to cck to play tennis with Yeli! What an amazing feat for both of us. We started playing at 10am, where the sun was right overhead of us, roasting us mercilessly. I think the heat made yeli go insane a lil, or she's actually already insane, because she started talking to the tennis balls HAHA. She had pep talks with them. Everytime she picks up a ball, she would look at it and say words like "C'mon!" just before she swings the ball, or she would look at it seriously and mumble some encouraging words if it has not been performing well. At the end of the game, all of her balls were named hahaha

Yesterday afternoon i slacked at Diana's house, supposedly to watch dvds, but we watched a dvd. Her dog, Marvis, is just so adorable!! He's one of the most adorable dogs i've ever met. He's so tame yet excited to meet me haha that's nice, eager yet not forceful. Even though whevever there's food, he either goes wild jumping, or stares at me with dagger eyes.
I've noticed that every owner of a dog just magically transforms into a mother when she's with it. The way diana was holding marvis was the exact way you hold a baby. On top of that, she started talking weird talk to it, which sounded like baby talk to me. Wow you can actually groom a mother or discover some maternal instincts through keeping a dog, wonderful.
So we watched "Corpse Bride", and i think it's not bad, although not fantastic but worth watching. The animation and music blended nicely together, i really like the way they drew the characters and the music! so mysterious and melodious. But i think the main character, the guy, is too stupid, he's worse than a klutz! Like what's wrong with him, haha ok too harsh. And the corpse bride is so cute, she's my favourite character cos she's a little ditzy, though adeline calls it psychotic.
Diana showed me her Mount Ophir trip photos. The whole group was so japalang. There was a China girl doing her phD, a 25 year old graduate who had worked as a police woman etc. Like where are all the normal NUS people, excluding Diana haha but anyways they looked like they had a really good climb, cos Diana's shirt was beyond soaked haha.
Yays i'm going k box next friday with Yeli (roundface haha as diana calls her) and Diana, can't wait!

In the evening, i took the mrt to boon lay to meet Ade, Jin, Sy for "Narnia"! Finally, we've watched it! after like three-quarters of Singaporeans have caught it already. The show was not bad, even though i wouldn't say it was fantastic too. It has motivated me to try to pick up the series of Narnia, after where i've left it.
The effects were good, it brought out the whole atmosphere of the story. Throughout the whole show, i8 could feel God's love intense love radiating, and intensified at the part when Aslan walked wearily and sorrowfully to be killed. The stark contrast was portrayed very well, between sinful man and Aslan (Jesus), a sinless being, and yet he chose to take that path (to the cross). That's the part that touched me the most.
But i feel they didn't portray Aslan as majestic as he should be. In the book, it was written he was so pure and beautiful yet so powerful at the same time, that the children couldn't look at him in the eye. Just feel that more of that quality could have been brought out.
Towards the end of the show, my bladder was near bursting point. And yes, i couldn't concentrate on the battle scenes, nor partake in the triumphant victory, the only thing i could feel was the dam that was about to explode. Haha ok sounds really gross. So phew, the movie ended, and i hurried awkwardly to the toilet grabbing sy. Haha sy tried to make small talk with me to divert my attention from my pee. Alas i reached the well in time. And jin told me she and ade took a photo of me walking so awkwardly haha bahhhh

The night ended with an impromptu phone date with Jin. Breaking all records, i heard a loudest wheeze that came out from her! Hahaha i cant describe it, it's just so freaking loud and funny haha as she explains it was a laughter mixed cough. So it went "whheeeeeeezzzeeeeeee *cough cough". Haha and jin, you should control your mouth and your BRAIN! haha
