Exercise regime

Uniquely Singapore Race
And so.. I have been able to stick to my exercise regime! God has been really gracious to me, for the good weather, like seriously it can rain any time of the day, except my jogging time =)) And thank God for a jogging partner, Yeli, whom i am still more than astonished by her 10 ROUNDS! Not only that, jogging has become sort of an addiction haha never in my life did i think there would be a day when i say that! On top of allll that, i have been incorporating simple excercise methods into my daily life, like - taking the uncountable mountain of steps to the NUS library instead of the LIFT and BRISK WALKING instead of strolling haha!

My exercise regime goes something like this: 3 times of jogging and 1 session of badminton per week.
But of course, i must remind myself not to zou2 huo3 ru4 mo2. As i read the Bible that day, i came upon this poignant verse,
Proverbs 21:31
"The horse is made ready for the day of battle,
but victory rests with the Lord."
Yeap, no matter how prepared i may be, i still need to depend on the Lord's strength, leaving the results to Him.

Caught "Memoirs of a Geisha" with Hiti and Choi Queen at PS. The movie lived up to my expecatations and even exceeded it. There were scenes where i was really glued to the screen, without a flinch, it could hold my attention for that long. Gong Li gave a stunning performance, Michelle Yeoh was stunningly beautiful, and Zhang Ziyi..well i just have a thing against her oops haha so for the whole time i kept receiving evil vibes from her although she's the most innocent girl. I prefered the child actor haha.

I have read finish "The Bell Jar" by Sylvia Plath. It is a really GOOD book which deserves a standing ovation. The story is about this girl who breaks down mentally and her treatment process. The imagery is brillantly vivid and the description is so realistic. The character is so realistically portrayed that i thought i was going mad too reading it. Not that that's a good sign, but i could totally immerse myself in the character, which is freaky but very successful at the same time. Marvellous.
