Spent some time with Li Ting at the steps today. Many times i have a whole web of fuzzy fragmented unsettledness in my head, and needless to say it comes out hardly coherent. And so, im left with this fuzzy blob, akin to a cotton candy, unable to express or untangle it.
Apart from that, Li Ting said something really imapctful. I was sharing about my struggle to surrender, and when i thought i had done it, it comes back to haunt me again like an old flame. But she said each time you surrender to God, you grow a bit more. Even though you may be surrendering the same issue over and over again, you don't surrender it the same way you do the next time as compared to the previous. Perhaps God is moulding me bit by bit each time, like the seed in the soil, though you don't see it sprouting now, the roots are slowly gaining ground.
Frisbee today was great, so thankful i went. Because i was feeling sulky yesterday remember, and sulkiness makes me want to run away from the rest of the world. Glad i could run on the green grass and jump around, glad i could laugh like i really meant it, seeing Chris do his splits ha ha ha ha.
Five things i do during Methods Lecture when i am really bored:
1. Draw ovals on my paper and eventually turn them into a flower.
2. Let winnie draw a man holding a map with a camera hanging over his bare stickman body, standing beside a coconut tree with two coconuts, on my paper.
3. Turn to winnie and indulge in our TCFC obsession. Revisiting our findings. hahaha.
4. Turn to winnie and indulge in our TCFC obssesion part 2. Setting some groundrules, like being punctual for the lecture is considered late.
5. Turn to winnie and indulge in our TCFC obssession part 3. Concluding that we don't mind sitting in that yellow car even if he leaves us on the highway. hahahaha.
