Five months

Yesterday's trip to Botanical Gardens was great! Although i don't think swans are cute anymore and am rather trumatised. Once we laid our picnic mat (thanks buddy!) and took out our containers of food, the swans immediately inched from wherever they were situated, stood right in front of us with their neck stretched firmly straight to the maximum and their red eyes stared right at us, for a long time. It was so freaky man, i didn't know when they would extend their neck and peck ferociously once i take out MY bread to EAT not to feed. It didn't help that we were very hungy and Jia Hui brought bread and luncheon meat (YUMS). We were cornered by one on the left and one on the right! Haha we were sitting at the edge of our mat lah, so pathetic, and i couldn't eat in peace. Haha i was so cautious of it and im sure the one beside me had daggers in his red eyes staring at my bread, preparing to charge. Then lo and behold, a pack of pigeons flew at us, or over us, but it was so near, we screamed for our lives. Eeew, pigeons rank second to crows as the most detestable specie of birds. That did it,we moved our picnic somewhere else far away from the pond.

I told jh that you can never get back the first experience you had. Like we wanted to visit the swans but it turned out disastrous, but we had a new nice different experience.

Thank God the weather was so good, yet again! It was sunny but not hot and the wind was sufficient. Even though jh was very scared that the trees might topple on us cos they rattled like rain on roof panes, in the wind hahaha. We ate our sandwiches in peace, opened a bag of doritos, threw my hot red frisbee, and had a substitute dog for Rocky (jh's dog that was supposed to join us) - Sparky! haha thanks Jinny for that dog, it was good company. We also played cards, and Snap failed because out of 5 times, only 2 times had similar cards for us to snap haha we laughed so hard, like what are the chances of going through the whole pile with 2 pple without any snap. Then we just lay down on the mat minutes before we had to leave, and listened to 3 songs on her mp3 - Here by me by 3 doors down, Accidentally in love by Counting Crows and 100 years by Five for fighting, very delectable songs for a day in the park under the tree.

We watched "The Lake House" after that. I like that show because it's so sweet! You know how romantic shows can get very cheezy, but lake house is not at all! It was so sweet and not overbearingly romantic with perfect tunes, and the side plots were done subtly nice. But Sandra Bullock and Keanu Reeves looked obviously rather over the prime, but maybe they were supposed to look like that, because their roles were over the prime people with no social lives. I didn't particularly like the ending though, cos it was fast and easy, i would like more melodrama. hehe i wanna watch the korean version "Il Mare" with jh! But she's going away! So we made a date 5 months later when she comes back haha so lakehousy.

Yesterday was so so so fun, like elated joy :) oh man i'm getting mushy. I really thank God for blessing me with such a friend! I'm gonna miss herrrrrrrr.
