Grace's 21st

I just came back from Grace's 21st bday party!! Yup grace's my discipleship group mate in campus crusade. It was held at sembawang park, nobody knows how glad i am, finally somewhere near home ground! haha and i think this is the second and probably the last time in my whole life visiting it, cos i heard from grace they are gonna demolish it soon, phew and sobs! yea i'm a very parky person, an advocate for green spaces haha and the place was nice, like a mini botanical gardens. But i have no idea why a police car and an army jeep keeps patrolling the area like once every half an hour? I don't even see them in east coast or pasir ris park. Interesting, privilege security haha

Me, stacey and daniel met and reached the park at 3 plus. I'm sooo glad stacey went!! We had lots of fun laughing about stupid actions and people haha like how i laughed at the way she rolls the frisbee vertically, and changing sides during ultimate frisbee wears us out more than the game itself haha we are SO unfit. We only played like 20 mins but we were sweating like we worked out for an hr haha thus (my fav word as my proj grp members deem) we scrutinised whatever sports cca we could join next sem ha but there was no conclusion for us, procrastinators in exercising haha

Grace has a whole bunch of friends, and i mean 50 to 70 pple!! Me and stacey were sure we would never hit that number haha her bunches of friends include pri, sec, poly, work, nus, church, relatives, mum's friends. During phototaking, i felt like i was in a wedding ceremony, grace stood permanently in front of the cake, and this guy (the chin haha he looks like the head in "art attack") would call out different groups of peeps to come forward -- *yells sec school yishun town friends, zhong1 xue2 peng2 you3! hahaha so wedding like!!

Oh and the world is definitely shrinking. I met my pri school friend, caleb! haha my p1-4 friend, he's grace's church friend. So amazing lah, it's such a nice feeling. I really liked pri school days and the fact that we still recognised each other (even though he forgot my name and it didn't seem to ring a bell when i told him it was sarah) made me relived a bit of my childhood days haha.
And there was this pri school girl (literally, now) looked at me and i looked at her --
puppy eyed girl: what?
me: wait, u look familiar. are u from yew tee pri?
girl: ya
me: what's your name?
girl: faith
me: oh. how are u related to grace?
girl: who's grace?
Hahaha we burst out laughing man, she's the ultimate winner. Then grace came to save the day, explaining she only knows her by "xiao3 yi2" i think. It's such a small world.

The food was good! The chicken wings guy made really good chicken wings! Just as Diana puts it, "normally at bbq, the chicken wing would be burnt on the outside but raw on the inside, but this is just nice!" haha i nod vigorously in approval. Stacey can really eat, i'm very impressed, but she gave our group a bad name. Everytime we look at the chicken wings guy, he would offer up chicken wings, or come up to us with a garlic bread introducing it as a new food, or look at us and ask if we have been waiting very long (for the food) haha we appeared to be so gluttony! But that's the only thing we could do besides talking to each other, cos we didn't know everybody there haha

Diana and stacey are like freaking funny, they give me stitches in my stomach haha daniel does things so out of the blue at times which makes us laugh. We were telling him why not take a photo with this group of guys, cos some of them were quite cute, and he immediately turned to them and yelled "they wanna take a photo of u guys". wah, no hole could bury our heads man haha stupid daniel haha. I think grace really enjoyed the party too, we all had fun =D

Thank God for the good weather!! like really really. and thank Him for making it so successful cos we enjoyed ourselves!!
