That yellow thing

Alas, the day arrived for the Ang-k-lung-ers (and the rest of the class) to perform!

Sa-lah and Jhet (that's how our Thai teacher pronounce our names), with the stage behind us! Half were Gamelan instuments and the other half for Thai instruments. They are so unique and weigh a ton! Cos i had a hard time carrying this small instrument that looked deceivingly light.

The rest of the Ang-k-lungers! We have come a long way, you should have heard us when we first started out, so painful to the ears! haha

Zhon yun! We had humble beginnings together with the Saw U (this er-hu looking and sounding instrument), playing it in our own world, before the rest of the ang-k-lungs arrived. and we played silly primary school games behind the curtain while waiting for our turn to perform. haha.

The night was over, and the performers and teacher were happy and satisfied. Off to dancing next!

I love the weather these days, i feel like kicking off those shoes and walking forever. I like looking up at the branches and leaves of the trees as they intersect, they form a nice pattern. Jade paused and took a picture of them, as we walked down the red brick path.

Just let me live in a shadow of Your beauty
Let me see You face to face
And the earth will shake as Your Word goes forth
And the heavens will tremble and fall
But let me say how much I love You
Oh my Savior, my Lord and Friend
