Fourteen, how young

Remember Reuben, that small 12 year old antagonistic boy i knew 2 years ago. Today he is 14, still small but with longer limbs and a deep voice. Today i played badminton with him and the sister Clarissa. Clarissa is as small and silently cute as ever, i really wonder what goes on in her lil head. Last night she msned me saying 'My mum may not be coming cos she go home cook laksa' hahaha. Reuben treated me for the court money and a can of chrysanthemum, w-o-a-h since when did he become such a gentleman. He used to be so full of anger and antagonistic! In reply to my shockness, he said 'don't worry, im still stingy', and then opened the door and held it for me. w-o-w. He's in that 'im no longer a kid phase' -
me: Let's walk this way
him: But the bus stop's that way
me: Nevermind, i'll walk you all home
him: But we are not kids
me: I never say you all are kids
him: But you're treating us like one
haha, Reuben, despite what the world or the teachers or the school system may tell him, i hope he truly discovers the person God made him to be.

Mums asks the weirdest question -
Seeing two cans of nescafe on the table she yelled, 'eh you bought this ar, who taught you how to drink coffee'
