We should chuck them to one side

One of life's toughest moment is when you are standing in front of the Ramly Burger stall, watching the guy toast each layer of bread, then lay the patty there to be grilled, followed by an artistic display of mayonnaise and chilli, overturning the fried egg crisy to edges, wrapping up the whole bundle of substance and finally giving away that pack of joy to the audience. It's tough indeed when you have four bags on your hands, and you wouldn't want to try digging out your wallet and cash and coins, and you just bought sliced fish bee hoon (that costed 3.20! darn), and you know it's bland already, and you want to bite yourself when you think of how much blander it will be, looking at that Burger of joy, and you have a queasy stomach because of tummyache for two days so you won't want to try anything funny (fried) to harm your tummy, and the queue of those lucky people is like a train, and the bus takes forever to come, and you can't take your eyes off the grill cos it looks sooo gooodd...you can just imagine the edges of the burger touching the sides of your mouth. ahh such great torture. I MUST get my hands on that burger soon (tommorow) ! haha.

The Lims did it again! Yesterday, spontaneously embarked on the boardwalk at Changi Beach. The brother said the view of the sunset on the sunset walk (that's its name), is the best there. We didn't get to see it though cos we were rushing to our seafood at the famous coffeeshop. It's beside Changi Village hotel, which used to be called Meridien Hotel. My sis recounted this particular event of me almost drowning at the hotel's swimming pool when i was a toddler haha. But i have no recollection of it at all. Apparently she said i was in the middle of the round float, and the next thing they knew, the float was away from me, and my mum rushed to my rescue haha. So we ate, scallop, deer meat, ha kaw, siew mai, frog leg, and crab. Speaking about the crab. It wasn't fantastic. But it was crab. So i gorged myself on it, cos when else will you get to eat crab. I was already having a tummy ache the whole of yesterday for unknown reasons, and today when i woke up, it turned into diarrhoea. It was watery, like real water, and i stinked up the toilet at Glean's house. The whole toilet smelled of crab, overnight decomposed crab. It was gross beyond description. I had to cover my mouth and pinch my nose, i could have suffocated myself in there. But suffocating felt better than the crab diarrhoea. So sadly, i guess i won't be eating crab for months, it used to be on my top ten list, and now its unranked.

After the crabby dinner, we rode around in Wei Xiong's car. The brother became the tour guide. He brought us to the estate we used to stay in(*sings memoriess..) and took us on the tour of perculiar houses. The itinerary included a house with thirty odd cats on its porch(freaky!), a house that hung a sign 'servants of the Lord, the house of ______' - i forgot what the ______ is. But the freaky part is that my brother said he read about this house in a storybook, and a real house actually hung that sign! Next up was a house that looked like one in wuthering heights, it had grey bricked walls and a chimney (?!), then there was the one that had a lift! gosh. And the final mansion took up the space of, i can't find a good measurement, let's just say it is a mansion. Oh there was one house that had "Lin2 Fu3" hung on its door, those big black signboard with golden words imprinted. ha ha ha. As Rachael says, 'it's hilarious'. We should get one too.

Thank the Lord for the spontaneous day, for the family. and. the friends (:
