Three pigeons and a black swan

Finally met up with Jia Hui :) yesterday! Ate ice cream at Island Creamery, tried Nutella, Apple Pie and Soursop flavour ice cream. Nutella tasted very nutty, apple pie was just apple pie and soursop was sour. But the mudpie was ooh soo delicious! First the bits of oreo on top, then the choclate, and more oreo but in cream form, and at the bottom was this orange layer which we do not know what, but the combination was purrfect.



We spontaneously decided to take a walk to Botanical Gardens. It was kind of barren at first, with few trees and trees with few flowers. Then we came to the pond with black swans and pigeons. We tried snapping intimate shots with the swan, but it was kind of intimidated by us, and let out this "rubber ducky (hahaa)" yelp! So freaking funny! Oh man, swans are really gentle. Whenever bread is thrown, the pigeons would scurry and fight for it, and the swan would just stand one side, looking like an outcasted overgrown kid. Or maybe thinking that fighting for food is so juvenile haha we tried every way to get as close as possible to take shots with the swans, and we ended up waddling with them as they waddled away from us. It was pure joy and laughter, we had SO much FUN, i can't describe it any other way, just pure fun! *Grins from ear to ear =D

This the pic of the day! We were posing with the pigeons, and the man at the back gave a kick so they all flew and we were at the verge of screaming! yelps (rubber ducky)!

We saw a pair of yuan1 yang1 (lover ducks), a couple taking wedding photos and took 88 pictures on that day. So couplish haha more pictures!





Jia Hui's leaving for Sweden on 14 August! Till January next year, sighs. I'm gonna miss her loads and loads and loads.
