this show on channel U, on wednesdays 930pm/1130pm, is rather nice. each episode features three Singaporeans who bring us to a place that made them fall in love with this island. today's episode showed a guy who takes photos of birds and landscapes at this place called 'halus'. it's like the untouched wilderness in Singapore. but with no surprise, they have started to fence off the area for development. the shots of the place were spectacular.
i googled this elusive 'halus', and its between pasir ris and punggol. i suspected punggol. punggol might be somewhere i want to live in next time.
