when eugene and sis and husband left, they passed bell to me in my arms so that she would not run after them. i sat down on the sofa with her on my lap, and felt her shivering! poor thing, she must have been really freaked out. then subconsciously i started humming tunes in a lullaby sort of way. must be my maternal instincts. hah. oh but it didn't work at all, and finally i set her free from my lap.
poor doogy, she looked so confused at the disapperance of her owners. she kept smelling their footsteps to find them or sit on the couch giving that forlorn look, as below.
then i left the house for reunion dinner. when i came back, and opened the door, bell peered out behind the door with a teddy bear in her mouth! awwww, i totally melted like crazy. it was the cutest thing ive ever seen (:
after i bathed, bell was not anywhere in the living room! where she always is. i stepped into the bedroom, and there she was, sitting on my bed! like, waiting for me. hahaha so cute lah.
then after that i sat on my bed, and she went out only to come in shortly after with her 'shoeshoe' in her mouth, jumped on the bed and sat at the foot of it chewing her shoeshoe.
satisfingly scratching herself after she finished chewing off the shoelaces. she must have been very hungry, because she immediately went to get another shoe to chew.
the morning after, when i opened my room door, she was standing outside, waiting for me again!
happy bell! :) and happy me taking the photo :))
i missed her immediately after i left the car, she was in the backseat.
i fully understood what yi fu tuan meant by 'affection is not the opposite of dominance, rather it is dominance's anodyne - it is dominance with a human face'.
i'm slightly changing my ism topic! so if any of you who have dogs and stay in a hdb flat, pleasepleaseplease come forward!!
baby asher! :)))
my grandfather, who is asher's great grandfather. they are both so cute. my grandfather, who is ninety plus, couldn't stop giggling at asher. and finally, he asked to carry him, hehe. all the cameras were whipped out for this defining moment.
babies and doggies (and husbands) at the beach, this is me and roomie's dream for the future.
