Interesting interesting

Heigh-ho! Just came back from Suki Sushi with the DG (Li Ting, Grace, Stacey, Me) plus michelle (yays!) and a long awaited friend to be introduced =) - Mun Kit! My virgin visit to that place was not up to my expectations. Sy and Jinny -- It's not THAT good! haha most of the sushi were normal normal, but the crab stick, i don't know what was wrong with it, i mean like how wrong can you go with crab stick, BUT it was hard hard. The chawanmushi (don't know how to spell) was yellow yellow and the mayonaise ohh was sour sour. Haha for the lack of better words.
Finally finally got to meet the much heard of Mun Kit, cos she was supposed to be in our DG, but could not, due to timetable clashes. Really great hearing her testimony, and inspired by the passion a new believer has in God. Plus she signed up for Gen12ii (Mission Trip) ! Amazed to see how God can really change one's life. She would be going to Japan, Li Ting East Asia, Stacey Central Asia, Grace and me Thailand, hope mich signs up too.

Prior to that, was at Settlers Cafe (Holland V) with mich and yeli. Brainless games are the most noise and energy stimulating, we laughed the most playing those. Mich unravelled her fast reflexes coupled with violent tendancies and hystercial laughter, which frightened me and yeli =S haha The service was not bad, friendly staff who were at their toes all the time to introduce new games to us, until we requested for more brainless games haha so unintellectual.

Yesterday night was my near virgin trip to Changi Airport. The first and only time was one of those primary school excursions. We sent Tracy off, and my sister cried, and Jacob and Tracy's brother immediately whipped out their cameras, and mind you those were not minute digicams but huge black professional cameras, i felt among the paparrazi ha. Kind of sad too that i wasn't able to catch up with her before sending her off. Pray that God helps her adapt to Australia.

Saturday afternoon, me and Jia Hui went to May Yee's school (Christ Church Secondary) carnival. Nice to catch up with that girl, and we are gonna watch "Rumour has it" this friday. Wow and since when did schools' carnvials become so high tech - they have rides like flying fox, abseiling, this ball like structure where they twist and turn you, foam party, and the bungee thing which you bounce up and down. Compared to Anderson's carnivals years ago, the only machine rides were teacups and mini viking haha.
There was this booth that was SO cute! They had dogs, ranging from really small cute puppies the size of your palm to the pretty musculine photogenic Siberian Husky. And you can take a photo with them and get it printed in 8R or 4R. We spent most of our time and money there haha suckers, and purchased one 8R and one 4R. I think it's a pretty innovative idea, move away haunted houses!

Not to be paedophilic, but did i mention the photographer who took our photo was really cute. He had huge marble eyes that peered right at you. But did i also mention that he's probably sec 3 or 4. Haha now i can understand why aunties like Bae Yong Jun.

Not to be paedophilic again, the guy that i support in Campus Superstar got into top 10 through revival round, yay.... haha he's the guy with the white specs called Adriano, i think he has a good voice and charisma. But don't be mistaken i don't follow every single episode of it haha ive only watched 2 or 3.

Some photos of 4 Kachangs...

I have realised that conforming to a routined life develops a self-centred view on life and God. It's at times when you are exposed to life outside school, friends and hanging out, that you see things differently and learn to let go off things. A routine may be comfortable but it builds a wall around you and this grows into a frog in a well situation. I shall start reminding myself to look beyond.

As Albert said on Sunday, leaving a Godly life and free from wordly desires requires you to let go and not look back. You can't have a foot in both worlds. Just like Lot's wife who looked back only once and she was turned into a pillar of salt. Although we would not turn into a pillar of salt, looking back regularly would hamper us from moving on with our walk with God. It's time to let go.
