i'm home.

if you don't know, the thing i do not like about going away is coming back, especially the emptiness of the arrival.
so, a tribute to some of my loved ones (you don't know how much it means to me) -
to clare, for your messages while i'm away. the laughter and pains that we have been through are irreplaceable.
to jinny, for remembering me. glad to see you settling down well, yak soon.
to ah chris, for promptly asking me out the night after. and we finally fulfilled our midnight movie!
to siangs, time with you is always too short.
to hiti, for your hilarious bag retrieval moment that sent me off in laughing fits, and remembering to holler when i'm back.
to ros, your notes made me smile. 'sometimes... when we take an hour back, it's like taking a step back for a moment to breathe, yes?' i could hear you saying them!
to ade, for worrying about me and texting at night even though we saw each other for eight full days.
thankyou for remembering this old friend, and for making this place (home) less lonely.
