caught this today,


haven't watched such a good film in a long time. a serious tear jerker.
hongkong 1960s, told from the perspective of this cute eight year old boy. his acting is superb, managed to capture all the different emotions. i like the dreamy effect of the film. and the intensity of each character [simon yam and wu jun ru, what can go wrong!]. and the symbolisms. ugh, but it's so heartwrenching, made me really sad!
