two thousand and eight is here, and i think i fumbled and stumbled into the new year. haha i ushered in the new year with a sore throat and a cold and a splitting headache, but thank God i'm feeling muchh better now! i haven't sat down to do much reflection or resolution, i slept so much on this first of january heh.
Last night was at derek's birthday party. There was sooo much food and sooo many people, there was like no space to stand at all haha. Me and rooms retreated into our own lil space in his kitchen, like how we would retreat to the back of the LT. Yesterday was also the first time meeting terence ever since he left and came back from Indonesia, it went pretty well for us hah. I caught a glimpse of derek here and there, and as silin said, birthday parties are the gathering of the other friends. haha i totally agree. and like what rooms said, she could squeeze -merry christmas, happy birthday, happy new year derek!- all in a line. haha.
and i missed watchnight after that cos my throat was hurting badly, darn. It was the first time all my friends were going.
I'm glad God spoke deeply to me before the year ended. it was about time!
